Cara install dan setting RoundCube secara manual adalah :

Download dan upload RoundCube di hosting

Buat database name dan database account di MySQL Database
Isi New Database >> Click Create Database
MySQL Users >> Add New User >> Create User
Add User To Database >> pilih 2 di atas >> Add
select ALL PRIVILEGES

Gunakan browser utk akses alamat_webmail/installer untuk memulai instalasi

1. Check environment

Checking PHP version
Version: OK(PHP 5.2.9 detected)
Checking PHP extensions

The following modules/extensions are required to run RoundCube:
PCRE: OK
DOM: OK
Session: OK
XML: OK

The next couple of extensions are optional and recommended to get the best performance:
FileInfo: NOT AVAILABLE
Libiconv: OK
Multibyte: OK
OpenSSL: OK
Mcrypt: OK
GD: OK
Checking available databases

Check which of the supported extensions are installed. At least one of them is required.
MySQL: OK
MySQLi: OK
PostgreSQL: NOT AVAILABLE(Not installed)
SQLite (v2): NOT AVAILABLE(Could be loaded. Please add in php.ini)
Check for required 3rd party libs

This also checks if the include path is set correctly.

Checking php.ini/.htaccess settings

The following settings are required to run RoundCube:
file_uploads: OK
session.auto_start: OK
zend.ze1_compatibility_mode: OK

The following settings are optional and recommended:
date.timezone: NOT OK(Could be set)

2. Create config

General configuration
product_name, temp_dir, ip_check, des_key, enable_caching, enable_spellcheck, spellcheck_engine, identities_level
Logging & Debugging
debug_level, log_driver, log_dir, syslog_id, syslog_facility
Database setup
Database settings for read/write operations:

• Database type
• Database server (omit for sqlite)
• Database name (use absolute path and filename for sqlite)
• Database user name (needs write permissions)(omit for sqlite)
• Database password (omit for sqlite)

Isi dan ganti Database setting

Database type, default pakai mysql
Database server (omit for sqlite), tetap pakai localhost
Database name (use absolute path and filename for sqlite), isi dengan database name yang kita buat tadi
Database user name (needs write permissions)(omit for sqlite), isi dengan database user name yang kita buat tadi
Database password (omit for sqlite), isi dengan database password yang kita buat tadi

Copy atau download hasil konfigurasi dan save atau upload 2 files (main.inc.php dan db.inc.php) di folder config dari RoundCube installation.

Initialize Database

Setelah instalasi komplit dan test selesai, remove folder installer dari document root webserver.
