Terobosan baru kembali dibidik oleh Axioo yang telah mengeluarkan produk Axioo PicoPad 7 BGT, Axioo PicoPad 7 GGC dan Axioo PicoPad 9. Kali ini Axioo mengeluarkan tablet 5 inchi Axioo PicoPad 5 GEA yang merupakan perpaduan smartphone dengan tablet atau biasa disebut phablet.
Keberadaan Axioo PicoPad 5 GEA ini sepertinya ingin menerobos beberapa pasaran tablet 5 inchi lokal seperti S-Nexian Five A5000, IMO Memo W6800, Zyrex OneScribe ZA987, Advan Vandroid S5 yang semuanya itu mengekor tablet 5 inchi pertama Samsung Galaxy Note 5.3 inci.

Axioo PicoPad 5 GEA mempunyai kelebihan utama layar sentuh capasitive 5 inchi beresolusi 800 x 480 piksel berteknologi transmissive. Teknologi tranmissive ini adalah lampu tambahan (backlight) pada layar LCD, sehingga akan lebih jelas saat digunakan didalam ruangan yang cukup gelap (indoor). Transmissive LCD umum digunakan pada Laptop dan Smartphone model terbaru.
Axioo Pico Pad 5 GEA ini sudah menggunakan sistem operasi Android ICS 4.0.3 yang ditenagai oleh prosesor 1 Ghz MTK6575, RAM 512, internal memori 4 GB ROM dan slot microSD untuk memori eksternal berkapasitas hingga 32 GB.

Konektivitas Axioo PicoPad 5 GEA dilengkapi dengan fitur dual sim card GSM – 3G WCDMA yang aktif secara bersamaan. Axioo picoPad 5 GEA ini bisa digunakan untuk telpon dan sms layaknya handphone pada lainnya.

kinerja dan pengoperasiannya, sama kayak Samsung Memo punya teman saya.

secara total memory internal memang 4 GB tapi yang bisa dipakai oleh user hanya 2 GB, dan yang 2 GB dipakai oleh sistem.

Saya pengguna Axioo PicoPad 5 GEA, yang ingin saya sampaikan kalau men-charge battery apakah butuh waktu yang cukup lama (rata-rata s/d 8 jam) baru penuh 100% dan kalau digunakan secara terus menerus hanya butuh waktu 3 jam saja. Apakah ada battery yang kualitas kuat untuk Axioo PicoPad 5 GEA ini ?
